On August 12, the local mother bear and her three cubs who were frequent visitors of Camp Olave, were safely and humanely captured through the efforts of a local BC Conservation Officer.

The bears will be transported and released in Jervis Inlet., where they will be able to roam free for miles without any human interaction.
